Seasons:Earth, Moon, And Sun Gizmo

In the gizmo Seasons: Earth, Moon, and Sun I learned about the seasons and why we have them and how the seasons change. The Earth's axis is not completely vertical, It's tilted a little. The seasons change when there's a lot of sunlight and when there's almost none at all. It's warmer in he summer because there is direct sunlight than in the winter when there's almost none at all. The seasons change while the earth orbits around the sun.

Zoom By Istvan Banyai

The book Zoom is about making inferences and predicting what’s going to happen next. When our class was looking at the book, we wrote down what we thought was going to happen next. Sometimes we were right and sometimes we were wrong. This book has a lot to do with perspective because you saw what the picture was and then thought of what would be added in the next picture.

Have you ever thought you were seeing something accurately but realized that, with a different perspective, you would see it differently? Well, it happened to me countless times when “reading” the book Zoom. I always thought I would be right…but of course it was something completely different. It happens all the time with everyone, everyday.

In the field of science, the data that I am gathering could be interesting to anyone. Astronomers study stars and planets far away. As we study astronomy, it’d be important to be aware of perspective because if you see something and you predict what’s going to happen but don’t know for sure it could mess up thing or experiments that you are doing/done.
